Today I'm focusing on finalising my patterns and starting to construct my jacket.
By the end of the day, I'm aiming to have a garment ready to paint!
I need to sample the fabric I'm reusing to check it will take the pigment of the paint which is something I'm looking forward to experimenting with. I'm losing a chunk of the back panel of the original garment as it has been slashed for sampling previously.
I will then reuse all the fabric samples created, and of course the offcuts, again in future work, or perhaps even in the styling of the garment by creating accessories.
I'm looking forward to seeing what is left over at the end as you get a chance to be really creative with the offcuts!
