This project is all about acceptance, diversity, and being authentically yourself without judgment. Fearless self-expression.
To achieve a more sustainable industry, I believe it is necessary to create ungendered clothing as a portion of produced garments and to remove the idea that certain garments are only for certain genders. There is a huge movement of people wearing ungendered clothing, and this is an area I would like to work in, in the future, as I have always believed the idea that clothes have a gender to be false. This is especially true when upcycling and tailoring clothing to the owner.
Superdy X, and what is being done with streetwear in the brand taps into this notion
of clothing for all, and this is something I carried through the project to my final outcomes.
