Exploring a brand through visual research.
Within the brand research, I decided to focus my attention on Superdry X as I feel this side of the brand fits my concept and choice of market the best, but also represents energy, direction, and creative freedom.
I was also inspired by Julian Dunkerton and the buying of vintage items to resell to a new market. This fits heavily into what I have done myself in the past with upcycling garments to appropriate them for a new market but also is at the core of this project for me.
I am taking a garment, focusing on a market that is already there but that I have defined through my own research, and created garments for that market.
